Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 February 2026

Welcome to Pózsó Fine Art! These terms explain how our website works, how we sell artworks, and how we handle your personal information. By using this website or purchasing from pozso-art.com, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

Pózsó Fine Art is run by Lilly MacKenzie, a UK-based independent artist. All artworks are created, prepared, and sold directly by Lilly unless we explicitly state otherwise. We take pride in producing each piece with care and attention to detail, and our practice is entirely independent.

2. Your Artwork & Copyright

When you purchase a piece from Pózsó Fine Art, you own the physical artwork, but copyright and reproduction rights remain with the artist. This means you are free to enjoy and display your artwork, including sharing images on social media for personal, non-commercial use, but commercial use, copying, or minting as NFTs is not permitted without prior written permission.

3. About Our Artworks

All fine art prints are produced on high-quality textured paper designed to last for years and to showcase colour and detail beautifully. While we strive for accurate colour representation, please note that screen and device settings may cause slight variations. Sizes are clearly listed in each product description, and mounted prints include the stated mount, while unmounted prints are supplied at the print size. We use standard sizes to fit most readily available frames.

4. Ordering & Delivery

Mounted prints are shipped flat in rigid protective packaging, while unmounted prints are sent in postal tubes. To avoid damage, please handle artworks carefully when removing them from their packaging. In-stock items typically leave within 2–3 working days. UK orders are usually sent via Royal Mail Second Class and arrive within 2–4 working days, with tracked or upgraded services available at checkout. European orders are sent via Royal Mail International Standard and usually arrive within 5–10 working days, though customs processing may affect delivery times. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within seven days of receipt with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement if required. Pózsó Fine Art cannot accept responsibility for damage caused after delivery due to mishandling or unsuitable display conditions.

5. Payment Methods

We accept payments via Stripe and PayPal. All payments are processed securely through these providers, and Pózsó Fine Art does not store your card or account details. Payment must be completed before orders are dispatched.

6. Commissions

Commissions are bespoke and made-to-order. To begin work on a commissioned piece, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit covers the artist’s time, materials, and preparatory work and cannot be refunded once work has commenced. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the artwork and before delivery or collection. Ownership of the physical artwork transfers to the client only once full payment has been received. In the rare case that a completed commissioned artwork arrives damaged during transit, a refund will only apply to the remaining balance, not the initial deposit. Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photographic evidence.

7. Returns & Refunds

Fine art prints are made-to-order and cannot be returned for a change of mind. Original artworks may be returned within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, provided they are returned in their original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Damaged or faulty artworks should be reported as described above, and refunds will be processed once the item has been received and inspected.

8. VAT, Customs & Duties

All prices on this website are shown in GBP. Pózsó Fine Art is not VAT registered, so VAT is not charged. Customers outside the UK may be subject to import VAT, customs duties, or handling fees, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

9. Your Personal Data

Pózsó Fine Art collects only the personal information necessary to process orders, including your name, email address, and billing and shipping addresses. Payment information is handled securely by third-party providers, and card details are not stored by us. Your data is used to process and fulfil orders, deliver artworks, respond to enquiries, meet legal and tax obligations, and maintain the security and operation of the website. If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, you will receive occasional updates about new artworks or exhibitions, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Data is processed under lawful bases including contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests, and consent where applicable.

10. Caring for Your Artwork

To maintain the quality and longevity of your artwork, please handle prints with clean, dry hands; cotton gloves are recommended. Avoid exposing artworks to moisture or prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour vibrancy.

11. Data Security & Retention

Order information is retained for legal and accounting purposes, while newsletter subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries are only retained long enough to allow a response. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are in place to protect your data, though no online transmission can be guaranteed to be fully secure.
